Le Beau Serge // Claude Chabrol (1958)

B+

Often considered as the first product of the Frech New Cinema, this film is actually on par with the more famous Godard’s Breathless or Truffaut’s The 400 Blows. A great film like this needs more acknowledgement. Plus Brialy and Blain is an excellent duo here.
